Great coffee begins with great farmers and at Leafy Brews (U) Limited, farmers are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to empower growers with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive in a sustainable and competitive coffee industry.

We provide hands-on training in good agricultural practices (GAPs), soil health, harvesting techniques, and post-harvest handling, all designed to enhance both yield and quality. Our support goes beyond farming we also promote financial literacy, cooperative organization, and business management, helping farmers manage income wisely and grow collectively.

To ensure our farmers stay at the forefront of industry best practices, we partner with NGOs, the Uganda Coffee Development Authority, and industry professionals to provide specialized training in diverse areas of coffee production. These collaborations allow us to produce coffee that is not only sustainable but also meets international quality standards, making Ugandan coffee truly competitive in the global market.

Through fair pricing, access to premium markets, and continuous mentorship, every farmer we work with benefits directly from the success of their coffee. This approach strengthens livelihoods, supports rural communities, and ensures that the story of Ugandan coffee is one of shared growth, sustainability, and pride.

Our Training & Empowerment Programs

At Leafy Brews, we provide practical, holistic programs that equip farmers with the tools they need to succeed. Our initiatives include:

Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs): Training on planting, pruning, soil fertility, pest control, and sustainable farming techniques.

Harvesting & Post-Harvest Handling: Ensuring coffee cherries are harvested at peak ripeness and processed to preserve flavor, aroma, and quality.

Soil & Farm Management: Education on soil testing, composting, crop rotation, and water conservation for long-term farm sustainability.

Financial Literacy & Business Skills: Helping farmers manage income, budgeting, savings, and cooperative management.
